Tip: How to book a hotel room with a hot tub

In the sections about hotels in this article, you will be redirected to a booking platform where you will then need to select your room. Not all rooms in these hotels have an in-room hot tub.

• When reading the room description, look for terms like “private hot tub” or “hot tub.”
• Sometimes rooms with a hot tub aren’t available on Booking.com but are on Expedia, or vice versa. So always compare both platforms.
• The hotel itself sometimes refers to the rooms differently than the booking platforms do.

That’s why I always include the names of the rooms you need to book, just as they’re listed on the platform. It’s best to look at the pictures of each room to decide which one you like best.

If you can’t find any rooms, they’re probably already fully booked for the dates you selected. In that case, try choosing a different date for your wellness weekend.

1. Hotel room with a hot tub in the Black Forest: Hotel Ritter Durbach

The Hotel Ritter Durbach offers pure wellness. You simply can’t help but completely forget your everyday life here. Whether you’re indulging in culinary delights at the gourmet restaurant, unwinding in the spa and wellness area with saunas, pools, and relaxation rooms, or cruising through the vineyards along the Baden and Alsace Wine Routes in a classic car from the hotel—you’re sure to find your very own way to relax here.

And if you book one of the three spa suites with a whirlpool tub in the room, nothing can really go wrong. These suites also feature a sauna and a fireplace:

If you book a hotel like the Heide Kröpke, your relaxation experience will be complete. It’s located in the Aller-Leine Valley and is surrounded by nature. Plus, the Kröpke Spa offers a 700-square-meter wellness area with an indoor pool and sauna.

The family-run Hotel Burgunderhof is an eco-friendly hotel for adults, nestled within a vineyard that features its own distillery. There are only twelve rooms here, each individually designed and decorated according to its own theme. In the Spa Suite, you’ll enjoy not only a view of the lake but also a private whirlpool tub in the room.

The Romantik Hotel Walhalla has been aroundsince 1690! It features a small wellness area with a sauna, wellness showers, and a steam room, as well as three restaurants.

A particular highlight here is the Romantic Suite. It spans two floors and features a fireplace, a rain shower, and a 2-by-2-meter bed. The suite’s bathroom also includes a private whirlpool for romantic moments together.
